Joseph Williams, President/Co-Owner SYNERGY HomeCare Santa Monica

WIth over 13 years of HR expertise across diverse industries like the U.S Army, Twitter, Nike, and Netflix, Joseph brings a wealth of knowledge to the advisory board. His impressive background includes extensive experience in executive coaching, leader development, learning and organizational development, inclusion strategy, and employee engagement. This diverse skill set enables him to empower leaders, build high-performing teams, and foster a culture of growth within both the organization and its workforce.

Joseph's passion for making a difference led him to Synergy HomeCare of Santa Monica, where he leverages his expertise to elevate the home care experience. Their mission is to provide comprehensive, 24/7 in-home supportive care tailored to individual needs. Whether it's combating loneliness through companionship, offering specialized dementia care, aiding in injury prevention, or promoting mental and physical well-being, Synergy HomeCare strives to enhance the lives of those they serve.

Korressa Lee, Senior Health Physicist

Korressa Lee is a Senior Health Physicist with the federal government. In this role, she facilitates radiation involving research via consultations, training, laboratory oversight, and protocol writing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physics from South Carolina State University ,  and a Master’s of Arts in Material Science from Fisk University . Her expertise is in scintillator development and ionizing radiation statistics.  

Korressa is the immediate Past President of the Baltimore-Washington Health Physics Society.  Her involvement in the Health Physics Society spans over ten years at both the local and national  level. Currently, she serves in leadership roles in her church as well as several community service organizations. 

 
 

Stephen Ayres, PT, DPT

Stephen graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021 from Chapman University. He has been in the field for over 2 years and has worked in both outpatient and acute settings and specialize in outpatient orthopedics.  He currently holds a position as an outpatient Physical Therapist at Little Company of Mary San Pedro that leads him to work with patients who need both orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation.  At present he has completed a continuing education program-Learning Movements which is APTA certified in preparation for the orthopedic clinical specialist test which he plans on taking in 2025.

Prior to his physical therapy career, he served in the US Navy as an Information Systems Technician from 2006-2012. With the mental fortitude and work ethic he acquired during his years of service it instilled in the Navy Core Values-Honor, Courage, and Commitment which he holds true to this day.  

Hobbies: In his spare time he loves to read and research new evidence-based practice skills/techniques that advance physical therapy and ultimately hone his craft for his patients.  He enjoys staying fit, cooking and baking.

 
 

Leroy Magwood, Director of Materials Engineering at Niagara Bottling

Leroy Magwood is the Director of Materials Engineering at Niagara Bottling where he is responsible for the management and development of core beverage technologies in the areas of sustainability, material system design and material process implementation.  Prior to Niagara, Leroy has held roles as a CTO, Product Manager and Consultant all focused on delivering commercializable products and driving value for the businesses that he has had the pleasure of working with.  

Leroy received a BS. in Physics for Benedict College in 2004 and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Phd in Chemical Engineering in 2009 specializing in UV photopolymerization under the direction of Alec Scranton and Christopher Coretsopoulos.
